Stihl chain price.

My dealer has been the same way for years ,20 inch bar 20 bucks ,28 inch bar 28 bucks ,they used to do buy 2 chains 3rd is free ,but they quit that years ago .

Where do you live. I gotta move there. I haven't seen prices like that ever.

October is buy 2 get 1 free at my dealer for stihl chain. I didn't get any myself. I prefer Oregon. $24 for 24" if I remember right.

Was at the dealer getting a few thing and was looking at chain for the 25" bar. Iv never bought stihl chain before and was wonderng if this price is about write.

I bought oregon chain laat time but dont recall it bein that expencive.

It might be a little higher than some Canadian dealers but not much. I would ask about buying multiples. We have one dealer doing buy one get a second for$1 until Christmas and another that is buy one get the second for $10.

I've been buying Oregon chain as well. I can buy 2 for the price of 1 Stihl chain.

a 25 inch chain here is 28 bucks here at my dealer i just bought a 100 foot roll from them and paid 450 im hoping that was a good price

Not sure how good of a price it is but last roll of Stihl chain i got for a customer was $335 plus shipping. Would have to check with my dealer to see if the price is the same though because that has been 6 months ago.

Just a couple years ago I could buy stihl chain on the west coast and pay someone to get it for around $300 a roll delivered.

OP, that is an insanely expensive price on a loop of chain.

Stihl is good but it's not worth 3 times the price of LGX.

I got a deal on rolls of LGX and can spin 5 for the cost of one of what you posted.

I've always found it cheaper to buy Stihl chain from a saw shop that spins up loops.
The factory stuff is always more expensive.

The old time saw and outdoor equipment dealer does this. Buy 2 get one free. I'd like to try spinning my own but would be hard to come out ahead. I have some Carlton and Oregon but prefer the Stihl.
Was cutting some big uglies on fence row, brand new 36 chain vs fence post tree grew around. Possible candidate for Philbert's 'No Kill' shelter.

Will do. Thanks. I am slowly finding out that my local Stihl dealer is not very competitive as compared to other parts of the country. Hence he has lost out on sales from me.
