I love my 28" and 36" light bars, but if your pockets are not real deep, don't over look the 24" E bar. Almost as long as a 28", less expensive and lighter than an ES bar, and a lot less expensive than a ES light bar (but not as light).

I'm going to the dealer this morning. I'll ask about the 24" price from them. Got to get some smaller starter rope and a oiler drive gear for a 660.

Jason, I'll bet that is an ES bar, not an E bar.

Brian, I have never owned an Oregon bar in my life.

FYI, my uported 044 with my little mods (filter, muffler, timing base gasket delete) dynoed at 7.356 Hp on one run (average of 7 continuous data points) and 7.56 Hp on another (7 continuous data points with eliminating the high #). So, it did pretty well for a stock saw!

Y'all just gave him enough ammo to invade Cuba.

I've never ran a 044 by my 272 that Jason did is dam impressive! He did a hell of good job with it!
I thought it would run better with higher numbers and got lucky with it.
It doesn't have 70 cc saw numbers in it.

268 with a 272 cylinder. Runs very good.
I was surprised by that saw

How far backed up are you?

A month or 2, or like Moobsy and booked till 2020.

I'm not talking Dianne Sawyer neither.

I thought LBA was long "bar a-holes."
Knobs abound everywhere trees grow and hacks go. I'm sure, I need a 660 w/36" to cut 8" trees, right?

See it all the time

Currently trying out Oregon light 20" in 3/8 50

The Stihl green bar is OK in 20-4" but the tips don't like to be used in hardwoods. Don't use them for bore cuts. The sprocket goes away fast.

Sounds like you need to learn how to file the rakers.
