Have done some reading on this and got some mixed reports as to what works. The saw is a new style with stainless muffler.

What coil do you use 441 or 361? I have heard the non limited 361 coil is NLA. Does that mean guys are using 362 coils.

Also heard about running the intake manifold from 084/088 and the sleeve.

Read that walbro carb leaves a lot to be desired. Over a tillotson.

361 coil is cheaper, I don’t know if it is limited or not.
441 also works, it is limited at 13.5 but that is more then enough.

When you will change to the bigger 088 carb you need the 088 intake boot.

You forgot to mention a muffler mod

Ok so now that either coil can be used. How much do you have to advance or retard the flywheel or are they a direct swap.

I figured a muffler mod was a given. Thanks for the reminder.

I have a Tillotson HT-5 that I was going use. Or would it be better to buy a HT 12.
I have also heard you can just rejet the walbro
