Good stuff, a comparison to a 441 C would likely be a blowout both in power increase and weight reduction.

A fairer test would be to compare it to a 71 cc saw, not a 77 cc. The light weight and spring AV should make it a winner IMO.

i'm not a fan of spring mounts, but the 462 feels solid, not loose

I think it was a great comparison for perspective on the the 462’s big punch in a small package. Running within a second of the 461 in smaller wood and within 5 seconds of a 661 in the long bar cant cut is a win in my opinion.

Exactly this Scott! If I've gotta block down a spar from 50-60 foot in the air, I'm taking the 462 over a 461 all day everyday.

Thanks for the comparison and videos really appreciate it. I am really liking the 462 I still think the 461 is one cool saw I could see someone having both or all 3 with the 661 for the big stuff all truly great saws. good times we have to have so many great saw options
