Awhile back I had a very clean Stihl 462 come in. It came in with a nice clean Stihl 090AV. They were both local saws with the 090AV being sold new by the now deceased former dealer and the 462 sold new by the retired dealer. I posted the 462 for sale or trade. The posting generated a discussion about early/late models, version 1, version 2, serial numbers, build dates, sticker color, sticker orientation, and a host of other great discussion topics. I have never claimed to be a modern saw builder. I am a vintage saw guy that runs them for fun. I run the modern saws so I can put stems on the ground. I could not add much to the "stickergate" conversation; all I could do was post pictures of my inventory at the time. I posted pictures of (5) new 462 Arctic saws along with teh older 462.. Last evening I went through and took pictures of (9) new 462 Artic saws that are here currently. I will post a list of serial numbers and build dates. There are (6) with 3/4 wrap handles and (3) with 1/2 wrap handles. The group of 3/4 wrap models have a build date of October 2022 and a serial number range of 193073878 to 193017906. The group of 1/2 wrap models have a build date of October 2023 and a serial number range of 194865058 to 194865069. All the saws are labeled with a green inventory tag but I want to be crystal clear if you compare the numerical tags in this post to the ones in the last they will not corelate. Last evening I tagged all the 462 saws with 1-9, in numerical order based on serial number. In the other thread they were tagged 1-5 without any correlation.

I think #3 and #4 should be sold together since they are sequentaly numbered, and not me, I cant afford them.
Ya see you self identify as a hillbilly so you are pre-approved for what we here call the hillbilly payment plan.

I take payments on-time and trades for anything but women and children.

I gave myself that online name because half my family is in S.C. and the other half is here in MT, the rednecks are in SC and the Hillbillies are here in MT, so its a name that that fits me well.

I am a firm believer in doing what you say, I have good credit with all my suppliers and localy owned business's.

I'm flush with Husqvarna saws these days and have never actually owned anything else, the main reason being is the locally owned husqvarna dealer is owned by a good friend of mine and he gives me all kinds of deals, I could walk in without my wallet and still leave with anything I needed

I am a firm believer terms such as as Hillbilly have zero geographic relevance. This is the USA and many of us had family on both sides of the divide. My Great-Great Grandfather was a lifelong military man. He was born in 1820 and fought as a very old man in the Civil War for the Union. We farmed here and he fought for the North. He is buried just south of me and if he was here he would say GO USA.
