I have both a Stihl ms360 and a 361. I've never had a ported saw I would like one that's still dependable and long lasting but kicks ass. Which of these saws would give me better performance ported?
Stihl 360 or 361 porting and who?

I'm going to say it depends on who ports it. I've ran an 036 that I can't imagine being beat.
Your cutting style will come into play too. I would wager if you prefer shorter bars and sharper chains vs longer bars and "dogging in" you may find one or the other to be sweeter. I'd recommend kicking a couple of the porter's tires and make an educated decision.
