Morning all.
I was wondering if anyone has a bit of info on this stuff.
i brought it cheap 100’ roll 3/8 x .50 I thought it was 3/8 x .50 lopro. All we get here in .50 is lopro, the std 3/8 is .63, so as I said in nsp3 thread I can’t get any bars for this chain, I think this pitch and drive link size is common in the USA .
anyhow from the pics you can see it’s a bit odd looking, stuff I’ve not seen before, when did stihl change from stamping 3/8 on the depth gauge to stamping a number that correlates to the pitch size ie 1,2,3
You can also see there is no oil channel on one side of the dl
Also it’s a wooden roll, all I’ve seen is cardboard rolls. Any ideas how old this chain is etc.
cheers
Sean
