Well I finally have a gear/sprocket puller done for the Stihl 090G.
I have searched these out for well over 25 years. I missed the new one Bryce sold years ago.
I like the challenge of having a custom tool made.
This one is done and looks good to me.
If there is interest there will be more built as well as one for the Stihl BLK.
Please view the pic with the red arrow as that shows what an inept person did to a irreplaceable gear without using a proper tool.

Very cool, I like how with just half of it (cut away view) on there we can see everything that is going on. Gets to be frustrating when someone uses a tool and it "magically works" without us seeing how it is grabbing on or moving.

This is a gear box from a Stihl BLK. The gear looks similar but is even more of a bugger to pull.
Maybe take the clip off first??? Haha, I went there only because you said something about the nut in a previous post! I think it is really neat to come up with your own tools to make a job work. Like in the days of old, I am sure guys were saying that it sucked to cut down trees with hand saws and then one guys thought....what if we put a motor on it....
