A completely new NEVER GASSED Stihl 090.
That’s a RARE piece!
And priced correct as i ve seen similar prices for used.
Someone buy that Unicorn before i rob a bank or two.

I don't know 090s
But i just bought 12 of those scabbards
At bridgeport equipment.
Are they saying the bar is vintage too.

Best i saw local was a nos 288 lite with the tie tag on the half wrap.
Guy sold it to someone else after we had made a deal.

I think new parts can still be purchased in Brazil, a guy here has a bunch of new stuff for sale including a brand new OEM 090AV which is the latest one Stihl sold. He wanted au$2900 for it. Pretty sure he built it from new parts from Brazil.

You’re correct though the newest of the breed might have some parts facelifted. For sure i am aware of different clutch cover.
Not an expert on this series.

i checked the serial no.
That serial number is a real 090 AV
I know that the 070 is produced on a seperate production line in Germany.
But they cant sell them in Germany because auf Emission regulations.
Some years ago they told Stihl dealers that every dealer could order a 070 for presentation purposes. But some dealers got greedy and put them for sale on the internet right before the saws were delivered.

I think there is one or maybe more stashed away somewhere. It's hard to know what all a retired dealer has in his attic.

I didn't think there were anymore NIB McCulloch 125s out there and then two popped up recently.
