This 088 is throwing me curveballs left right and centre. The sealing surface is pitted and damaged. I spoke to @Trains who told me about speedi sleeves. My only issue is that the clearances on this seal contact face of the crankshaft is 3.5mm and the sleeve is 8mm wide. Therefore not only did it have to be machined down, I had to install it backwards! This may save you hundreds of dollars in replacing a crank, most of the time, I suppose the speedi sleeve can be installed in its normal orientation, but in extra tight spaces you have to get creative.

Chucked up and just starting to part off excess

Remaining sleeve after parting:

Sleeve installed backwards as far as stop
& then Install lip being removed:
Sleeve remaining creating a recess by 0.25mm to avoid interfering with oil pump shoulder.
