Anyone have a jet laying around for a stihl 088 Tillotson HT 12E carb? Part number 1124 121 5405. Or if someone has drawings for it? I have a feeling this might be a longshot. :D

If you don't find one PM me next week I'll check with an old timer Stilh dealer who is a buddy of mine that has a basement full of stuff...problem is some of his stock is literally in buckets, I was there recently and saw about three 5 gallon buckets full of carburetors..he only does Stihl..remind me and I'll try the part number by phone with him. Might get lucky...you might be better off getting a part number for the complete carb though. He's been in business 40+ yrs and the basement only has little bitty trails between an astounding amount of Stihl saws from the past 4-5 decades or so, in varying states of disassembly..like mounds of saws shoulder high in places. Nice old guy probably in his mid 70s just sits down in his basement all day long fixing saws and sharpening chains for local tree guys. I asked him one time what he was gonna do with it all when he was done fixing saws..told him he aught to get a eBay account, but he just kinda shrugged it off like it wasn't an idea that he would try.

I did source a used HT 12 carb from a Canadian address, got my 088 up and running. In my google search for the jet I was after (and still can use one) I noticed some posts saying that the HT 12 carbs have a problem and can't be fixed, but no specific info on what the problem is. Anyone know?
