SELLING Stihl 070-090

[Lee H]

Selling this saw for a friend. Stihl 070 converted to an 090. Has new 66mm top end and a new oem 6 shoe clutch and drum. 137cc's of power. Runs well. Great milling saw. He's asking 1200.00 for it. I can email pic's to anyone interested.

Lee is no rookie (you know that) and he would not price a saw out in left field. Your normal tactic of belittle the saw, try to scare everyone away, then buy cheap won't work here. How about leave your opinions on a saw models for the other areas of the forums such as chainsaw discussion and keep the classifieds clean.

Wish I had a six shoe clutch for one of my 070s....

Bill, the issue as I see it is this, your original comment above does not convey that you accept or agree with Deets assessment of value. To the casual reader it appears that you are questioning his assessment of the value of the clutch. As a matter of fact I did and I had read your For Sale thread on AS.

We can all be a little more clear with our words and communication, remember words on a page don't convey feeling (positive or negative). The emotion created by words on a page are created in our mind and are rarely a reflection of the writer when he put the words on paper.

I don't know any of you guys, but I know Lee. If I need anything, I can call him and he'll help as best he can. No matter what. So if he's selling a saw I'm going to try to help him as best I can.
