Hey guys-

I'm putting up this Stihl 066 for sale/trade. I got this as a project from a member here on trade. I think this 066 is from the last of the short-case, poly-flywheel bubble-top saws (just before the transition to the long-case poly flywheel saws).

It got the full treatment from me - new OEM parts include: Piston, rings, wrist pin, clips, wrist pin bearing,
gaskets, main bearings, seals, muffler, chain tensioner, guide plate, Oregon rim/drum/bearing, and western-style clutch cover assembly with the larger chain catcher.

The air filter cover, top cover, and starter housing are new aftermarket. The guts for the starter are OEM (I don't like the aftermarket starter parts or recoil springs). I have the original OEM covers but they're scratched up and the original air filter cover is cracked pretty good. The saw was missing the starter when I got it.

The 3/4 wrap handle and brake handle are not original to this saw - they're used parts I picked up from another member. The carb currently is the WJ-69 which came with the saw. I have three of the Bing 48 carbs though and can swap one of those in if a person is planning on modifications. The cylinder is the original minty Mahle jug - not the newer Stihl-made jugs that came on the long case saws initially.

Things I can do trade/part trade on include:

Larger Alpina saws/parts (particularly p700/750/760/800 saws or parts), a nice complete 385/390XP fuel tank with the vibration mounts,
a Makita XLT01Z/02Z ( I have the battery charger already), a McCulloch 101 full-circle crank in good shape, a Dewalt/Makita Roto-zip style saw,
Partner 1250 parts (Namely a top cover/air filter & cover/blade shroud), Solo 656/665/675/680/690/603/681 stuff, or ??
