SOLD Stihl 056 Mag II

Up for sale is an 056 Mag II with an 056 Super cover. Some of you may recall when I was building and selling 056's, this guy is the last of those. I took the cleanest crankcase and fuel tank I had and sourced new seals, a new case gasket, a n.o.s. impulse hose, and a set of Caber rings for this build. I used a clean, oem Mag II piston and put a lightly ported cylinder on the saw with a base gasket delete (which is how I found it). I don't know who ported it or how long ago or how well it runs, but I'd guess it was a Madsens job. It has a FarmerTech Air filter on it, that and the Caber rings are the only a/m parts used on the saw. I'm selling it as a parts saw, the coil has spark but the saw refuses to fire up and run. I'd like to get $250 + the ride, but I'm open to offers.

I almost forgot, the only missing part on the saw is the inner bar plate.

Brief update, after a member showed interest I tried firing up the saw and it cranked up and ran fine. If he passes on it, the new price is $325 + the ride since it now runs.

Any chance are you the guy WHO HAD FIVE 056s?? I had the the unthinkable happen and my saw ended up flying OUT IF THE TRUCK!! My folks are gettin cold for winter and my 056 handle cracked off. Yes it’s a disgrace. Would you still one one of your saws for sale or a top cover handle? Would be a great thing for family and a 056 owner/owner would be really thanking God

Joel, I don't know you but if you and your family need a saw, I have an echo cs 4910 I'd GIVE you.

Needs an oiler repair, which is nothing. Echo parts everywhere but I have too many other saws on the bench right now. It's a "modern" saw and I don't like modern saws. It runs well. Tuned for 32:1 amsoil saber 90 octane.

I am that guy, but all my 056's and associated parts are long gone, sorry.

I would have a top cover and grab handle and any other parts you would need for the 056. Just PM me and we will talk. Should be cheaper than Ebay. Thx.timg
