SOLD Stihl 046 , Echo CS-1201

I’ve been spending money lately like a drunken sailor. No offense meant. Trouble is, I need more.
Got a broke truck to fix right now. He’s a couple of my nicest saws for your review.
1) 046
Low time homeowner 046. This is also an early one with the D shaped combustion chamber and dual port muffler. I painted the outside of the clutch cover but that’s all. The rest of the paint is original. I could swap it for a new factory one if you’d like, but then you’d lose the small Stihl logo that’s on the original one. Also included is the original owners manual with the original Proof of Purchase from the original owner. Saw will pull your arms off. Saw came with the tiny dawg that was original, I still have it, somewhere. I added the big ones. $850 shipped lower 48.

Rethink letting your 046 go. I've got new saws that I wouldn't miss but 046 and 028 have earned their keep one hundred fold.

Thats a tough one, Both great saws, a 125 might have a touch more torque with the extra 7cc's
over the 1201 but the 1201 is a power house and fun to run.

Just curious throw the Dolmar 166 in the mix how would it compare to the other two

I have never run any of these saws head to head. To many variables. Bar length, chain etc.
If i had to guess the 166 would come out on top.
