I have a stihl 045 is very much complete with bunches of extra parts I rebuilt the carborator and the other one that is currently on the saw needs rebuilt. I have both styles of starter cover and ignition types 2 carborators both 54mm and 50mm piston and cylinder kits for this saw currently have the 50mm equipped is a little bit dirty but been very babied oiler works great and 404 pitch spur sproket both styles of muffler the mag muffler came without the side pipe old style version will need the bottom holding bracket tack welded back on. New Gas line and filter and intake boot as well and tank gasket. No Baring play. Looking more to trade for something newer just have a bad back from building houses and need something lighter.

These are neat old saws. But you're not going to have much luck selling unless you can add some pictures. It would be helpful if you could add your location, too.

I really like these old dinosaurs; I have built an 045 and a 056.

What you are looking for in trade; are we talking an MS170? (Obviously not). Any idea what size saw are you looking to replace it with?

Well I have the 54mm cylinder but the piston was too long and wouldn't go through a full revolution so probably something that size because I run 404 pitch not 3/8 can be newer of whatever. Honestly I've been looking for a 051 or not working 075 or a mccholluch sp81 among others like that husky, echo newer saws but yeah no too specific

It comes with everything that I have for this saw lots of extra parts I ordered a new av mount and carborator rebuilt kit for the older carb just not sure what is going on the fule keeps just draining out into the cab area and the saw has spark but I think it may be intermittent so that is about it very much complete right side screw holes are going to need heli coils been like that since I started working on it
