I've got a Stihl 044 that is missing all of the brake mech, from band all the way to cover. I've got an ipl and it lists all the components, but is there a kit that has everything? I can't seem to find a part #.

There are some sellers on Ebay that sell the whole kit, or the guts, then you can find the brake handle (flag).
We wish you well on your search.

OEM tho?
I would never use ANY aftermarket brake stuff if I had the choice.

I'll probably just buy it all new, the saw is pretty nice so I don't mind spending a few $s. I don't really like to skimp on things that matter.

I might have the (2) plastic covers for the brake mech.
