I’d say the mag falls between a 044 and 046. It can pull as almost as hard as my MS460 but is heavier.

Well all I know is my uncle likes the 038 farm boss. He told my dad that kid of yours finally got me running a stihl. He used to be a homelite dealer back in the early 80’s. His last firewood saw was a 360 pro and the one before that an xl-12. The 360 needs a boot and few other things but might never be fixed how that he has the 038.
