Stihl 034 AV, starts, runs, idles, oils, brake works. Piston looks great. Complete power head. Has side chain tensioner.

Saw has not been in service for years, it's been sitting in dry storage for the better part of the last 16-18 years. A fuel system refresh would be beneficial. I set the H & L screws to one turn out, put gas in it, and 6-7 pulls later it was running.

$300 shipped in the lower 48 states, VIA FedEx ground.

Willing to ship else where for actual shipping costs.

I'm not interested in trades.

Will somebody please buy this, I'm broke and I've been creeping on these since the 4 were posted... Pretty sure based on my CL/FB listing searching that this would be a good deal in a back alley from a shady character, not knowing if it ran...

I like my little 034 I got from ebay in non running condition. I have about $250 into it but, had to use chinatec parts to put her back together. plastics, coil, clutch, starter and clutch cover, I think it got parted out because the carb needed cleaned and fuel line replaced. 1 or 2 pulls and she is running. I have never come across an 036 that starts as easy as my 034.
I haven't seen one of these on CL yet but, lots of 036's for $500+ and they sell. Great little saw platform with plenty of parts available for them (mostly aftermarket)

Yup... One 036 on there right now for $525. I've seen them as high as $650 which is pretty ridiculous. Maybe if the thing was new in the box I'd consider paying that much. Dad has an 036 pro he bought new in 96 and has cut firewood with it every year. Very little maintenance needed. Thing was ran on e10 regular unleaded and whatever 2t oil was cheap its entire life. Apart from cleaning it every once in a while and an occasional plug it has required no maintenance.

Great looking saw. I always loved 034's. Sold my 1st one and immediately regretted it!
Just sent an 034 Super to Stump Shot.
I'll ask around for sure!

There was a guy on CL that had a 036 with a 1500$ price tag on it. Used. I had to ask him how much he paid for the drugs he was smoking.
