Just bought this. Looks like I lucked out. We can try it out in CT. Experiment and see if it makes any difference.
Says genuine Stihl Ducati Energia on it. [emoji106]
But is all black.

lets see the back of it
Not sure Jeff.
I can just tell you the better coils say "Ducati" and Made in Italy on them. Also say "Energia" and have blue resin.
Also usually on later MS260's and not 026.
I can bring along a stock 260 no decomp if you need another to tinker with that day.Just bought this. Looks like I lucked out. We can try it out in CT. Experiment and see if it makes any difference.

I was just going to see if there was any differences and go by the seat of my pants feel. LolHave you used a timing light to see the differences in these coils? Or just going by "seat of the pants feel" ? Just curious.
I'm going out to the garage to check my ms260 to see what I have now, thanks.
Time the cuts in the same piece of wood with the old coil and the new one same bar/chain.
It’s neither. It’s not a performance issue, more behavior.Have you used a timing light to see the differences in these coils? Or just going by "seat of the pants feel" ? Just curious.

More than likely a later or slower timing ramp rate. It’s neither. It’s not a performance issue, more behavior.
For some reason, the blue coils don’t get the dreaded off idle bog some 026 get. I’m still not sure why.
Try it and let us know!So the Ducati coil does nothing for top end? Only at idle?
