I'm trying to find a little 026 or 260 pro to rebuild and port. Blown up, locked up, dirty, greasy....that's all fine. I just need mostly complete, preferably entirely complete and be mostly usable parts.

I wish I had a few pallets of them. As much as I love vintage saws I find the 026, 044, and 066 as my favorites. Yes I love my vintage Homelite's but when brush needs on the ground I take a 026. When wood needs cut I take a 044 or 046. When a large tree needs turned from vertical to horizontal I take a 066. When I want to play I break out the vintage stuff. Yesterday my sons were talking about years ago when I had to cut a huge hollow tree. I used a Homelite 750 with a 60 inch. Once it was on the ground their little brother climbed in the stump and we took a picture.

Sadly that picture was lost years ago

You can buy a new one from Paveen and then you have a good place to build from.

I don't mind old, greasy, blown up, or whatever. It will most likely be sandblasted and power coated anyway. As long as it's mostly complete, cases aren't busted anywhere and not covered in Chinese parts.

Let me know if you haven't come up with one. I have an 026 PHO that should be mostly complete, but a non-runner.
