SOLD STIHL 024/026 parts

Like title say. This an 024. Have not tried to run. Not my flavor and too many projects.
The good
-Looks decent after a wipe down
-has good spark
-Has sought after wire mesh filter
-170 lb compression
-Pnc look good
-fuel line feels soft
-Nice 16" BnC with .325 pitch, chain looks decent
- looks like it was ran pig rich
-visable machine marks on piston

The bad
-fuel tank handle is busted

The custom
-Fuel tank handle was fixed
-thick sheetmetal fabbed and bent/ 5- 8/32" screws and nuts then eletrical taped- pretty solid
Looking for $50 on saw SOLD

I also have a 026 pro 44.7mm head
With decomp plugged. $50. SOLD

And an 024/026 NOS fuel tank $70SOLD

Buy all three and i will do $175
Plus shipping FnF or add 3%.

This is wer a stihl guy comes in. I thought in my orange red and black brain 024 and 026 wer compatible. I could be way off. Thanks for bringing this up Tim. I might be going in the wrong direction

I just stick with the three series Huskies and red cousins. Everything fits

I don’t see any reason to retrofit to a case/ crank with less stroke.

From what I know it will fit the case, but an 024 top cover will not work because the 024 cylinder is flat on the top with no fins sticking up.
Please don't call me a stihl guy .

Thanks Kev. I thought i could get a guy into a 026pro for around $200 but i realize now that i have really mis matched items damn husky guys, cant take um anywhere......

That “new” tank takes the tall black vent. I can barely see it in the filter pic. It will fit.

The cylinder will not work on the short stroke of the 024.
