stihl 020av ignition

I removed the points & condenser on an 020 a few months back.
I replaced the coil with an electronic unit direct from a 009 Stihl.
Kept original flywheel, timing is identical,soldered kill wire back on underneath the flywheel (in points housing)
Never looked back,the owner was over the moon

Ihad three different OEM ignition systems on the 048. I have four bottom endsthree flywheels and several ingnition stes in electronic and one old points system. the best running was the coil I stole of a craftsman 2.? whatevea It lacked a good advance curve. Neede more lead on the top end.
