Gullet cleaned, material under and inside removed, maximum cutter height kept taking only enough to create a square corner.
Not done yet, but do you all suppose the angle under top plate is steep enough? Or shal I go more? If more, I may get a little more forward lean than I like.

Then on to making it look the part. If I finish it tonight, I'll put up another pic with different views.Looks good to me. About like my chain that won the 3120 chain race. I had about 5 degrees of lean and a 30° top plate.

I think picco sucked to convert to square
I converted mine in one pass in 20-25mins. For work chain.
I'm still wondering about the white pine them chains were run in. Totally mis-judged what it would do to the saw if left tall.
It was sure a good experiment. I'm glad Kevin held the test.
It's not to bad once you make some room to work in.
After looking at some of the cutters folks were showing, I figured they would gag that little Echo for sure, and you'd have to be holding up on the saw to get it through the cant..That stuff cuts like warm stick butter.
