Why is everyone fussing about the cost of Stihl Saw Chain. I recently purchased a loop of RS .325 18" 68 DL for $19.35. TSC wants $19.99 for a 67 DL Tri Link version.

I must be in area that has decent honest Stihl Dealers . Buncombe Co. NC. Asheville area has 4 Ace dealers they are high. Also 3 Independent dealers that are reasonable. Madison Co. NC. Has the dealer I bought my saw from. They are lower than any one in this area. And here in Town they are only slightly higher in price. And they are a Ace. But not in the same Chain of stores. Evey day I go to work I pass at least 3 To 4 of those locations.

Yes.

I paid $35 for a loop of 99dl 3/8" Stihl chain yesterday: that's as much as I've paid for 36-42" .404".

But it was cheaper than Baileys before tax or shipping.
