It's one of the many I have been rebuilding and selling this saw because it's what I do now because it's fun and loud. Anyway yeah I rebuilt this saw after owning it for a while and I think one of the starter pauls was too loose and the flywheel blew up but I installed a new flywheel that I found at garage sale looks like the previous owner used a dremmle to shave down a bit but doesn't effect it in any way and lines up fine the numbers are for a homelite super xl automatic and the ignition is from a homelite xl 12. I currently have an ignition chip installed in place of the condencer. It always starts up in 2-3 pulls it's I believe 58cc's saw.
What I've done to it
Newer fule line about 1 year ago still good
New fule filter every spring
New ignition and flywheel
Newer stop switch. .. toggle type
Ignition chip
New spark plug
New air filter
New bar stud
and new Gas cap
Decarbonised the engine and also run marvel mystery oil with gas in 40:1 mix ratio
Never had problems with the carb
Oiler works great and no barring play at all. A few cuts in the bar cover from throw chain. And the starter cover does have two small holes in it. It's loud and mean for 58cc's
