58.1cc, original 20" hard nose bar and new chain. 175.00. The XL automatic was made from 1965-1967 and was the predecessor to the blue Super XL Automatic. The saw was made in early 1965. This saw is a real survivor, paint is pretty faded, but this saw is all original down to the original air wick fuel filter and cork air filter cover gasket, the felt tank filter is like new, the clutch cover is great shape as are all other components. The cylinder looks great as does the piston and rings. The muffler is in great shape, only replacement part I've found on it was the rim sprocket and one muffler screw. I don't think this saw was used much, if so it was mechanically well cared for. This saw sat without fuel for many years in a garage, I acquired it several years back, but I have three other models like it. . I really want to keep this saw, but wife's medical bills are mounting. The saw runs good. I'll tell you how much I want to keep this saw, If you want one of my restored ones I'll sell it for 25.00 more, reply with zip code if you need a shipping quote. Oologah, OK. 74053.

Chrome muffler and bucking spike meant the original owner had good taste ! Excellent saw, I've rebuilt a few a they are dead reliable.
Good luck with you sale, did you want to tell people what you're asking for the old gal?

They actually were not chrome, they were zinc plated, and there was no other muffler finish offered on these saws, The bucking spike was a dealer add on as were the manual oiler pump and carb heat shields for those up north. These used a wick style filter in the tank that resemble a glove with fingers (in order to lay in all the crevices) the fuel line came from the bottom of the tank via a copper tube until it was near the top of the tank then it had a straight line hose to the carb. Many people changed the fuel tank cover out to the later models with the hole at he top of the tak and an filter attached to the fuel line because the wick filter was hard to get by the time they wore out

I guess I had a brain fart, thanks, I'll edit the ad, its 175.00 plus shipping. I thought it needed a carb kit, turns out it was out of gas, lol, Also I found the original 20" hard nose bar and it is now on the saw with a new chain. It runs great
