Does anyone make ther own jig head. Just wondering what you use for paint. I baught a couple colors of jig paint from bass pro. Just wonder if any paint would work like nail polish or would it put out a smell or something?

I buy componant systems paint i use latex i prime in white then finish coat then the clearcoat some guys use the powderpaint and bake it some guys use the laquar base paints by direct from component systems they are so much cheaper then bass pro also more colors they are part of the do it mold company

Well its been a busy summer and finally got the boat out for the first time this summer.
Managed to het a few.probly lost just as many. Brought a couple people that hadnt down rigged befor.
Had a good time though. Thats about 3 and half hours of fishing.

I got to try to figure out how to move the boat back on the trailer a bit. I dont have it on proper. Its on buncks so wont move too easy. Might try soaping the bunks and see if i can push it but i dought it. Guess i had a brain fart when loading it.

Was out today. Got 8 walleye and one rainbow. Bunch of silver bass too. Kept two silverbass to try.
Water was getting quite rough. 3-4 footers. Had to call it quits around 11:00.

Never got no pics. Was in a rush to get them cleaned to make it to my grandparent 60th aniversary party.

I caught some perch the other week. They small guys but I caught a pretty nice one.
They get a bit bigger than that but rarely over 2 pound. Table fare.
