Stump Shot, at least your mailbox looks good. I've straightened mine out so many time this winter, I don't know how it's holding together. I got a new one yesterday. I can't put it up till the banks reduce a bit. 14 ga. steel. I already have a swing away post.

It's been 20℃ mid day all week, absolutely no notable precipitations for the last three weeks.
Not good, too dry and too warm, orchard trees are starting to show buds - way too early.

I don't see any dog prints. How do you explain the yellow snow under the mailbox? I think your mailman is trying to tell you something.

Snow was supposed to start today at 3:00 pm. It started four hours earlier than that. All of this is headed east and north after it dumps all over me. Targets are Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, etc. Then the temp is going down below zero after that.

Conclusion: Winter ain't over yet. Wasn't there a song: "Here You Come Again"? Dolly Parton?

Dug my way back to the north end of my woods. I cant get to the south end as I need to go up a hill that I need to back the skidsteer up and it lacks power to chew through this much snow with clearing some.

Sad part is...looking thru all these pics it just reminds me of a typical winter 20 years ago. Weather sure has changed. Don't even get me started on what the old timers used to say what winters were like lol.
