I like a spring puller here

I like the puller -- to me the most aggravating thing to install (at times) can be that brake spring. Some go right on, some take the dickens to get on.

Ever see an old school drum brake adjustment tool?

Cheap at your auto parts store. One side dished and meant for installing the bracket springs.

Works like a charm on Chainsaw brakes Tommy.

It would be, but when I set my cylinder on my case it has a small rock in it. I plan to use a gasket and just cut the base. They are plenty thick anyway

Exhaust and intake seem ok? Lower the cylinder, raise the exhaust to make more blow downs and fill the intake? Is this a long bar challenge?

Haven't opened mine yet. Did you get any numbers without a gasket Deets?

36.5* of case compression don't sound great to me, but I've never done an 066.

Appears that numbers, exc for the intake floor, would be near perfect after dropping the jug.
