The stand is tippy and hokey...I ended up after the second day making a wall mount for my Simington..too much customer traffic in my shop..some dingbat woulda floored it for sure..

The grinder itself works awesome and I don't have any issues with mine, but like he said the stand could definitely be better!

While not the heaviest/most stable piece, it serves me fine. It's in my basement workshop and my wife walks past occasionally, so no real threat of someone bumping into it. Only $75 shipped on Amazon (forum won't let me link it).

Just make your own mount in your shop…all it is is round tube. Can see mine off to the left. Swivels over the bench when not in use. Just a pc of pipe through a hole in the bench top. Some guys also mount to something square and place in a vise.

They sure jumped in price FFS. I should have bought one a year ago. Will just stick to round filing. Good luck

Those are slick!!! Expensive, but very nice, look well made.

Yep I like em..Unlike everything else ive tried these dont turn to junk in a week..keeps my chains from getting dinged on the way to the trees and they ride nice on the shoulder. You can opt for a pouch to carry some small stuff right on the scabbard, nice if your takin just what you can carry. And nope they ain't giving them away..lol
