Picked up a couple of folding knives before Christmas

Not exactly knives but back from the time we had to write letters to distant friends and family. I found these letter openers in my old desk. They certainly predate me.

The one on the left was made by my father when he was a boy.

Haven’t seen my Leek in weeks... might look for a carbon scaled one to replace it if I can’t locate.

New here, came looking for info on lawnmower and tiller motors but I like this thread better. A lot of nice knives, really like the custom made ones. My bother in law has been making some for the last year or so and he’s getting better. He doesn’t sell any, just a hobby and gives them to family and friends. He made this for my sons 7th birthday, my son is not allowed to touch it yet. Brother in laws first attempt using antler on a handle.
