It’s small around 2lb but it’s pretty square never had one with such a right angle finish

Yeah it’s funny though I got some 24” x 2” handles here and it doesn’t sit on them right too many gaps on the underside and the 30” x 2.5” fits better
But the axe doesn’t look right with such a long handle

Only one solution make another freaking handle

Yeah always do Jeff they’ll usualy come out the factory like that and some people seem too need that extra on the top to make it tight

just invested in some hickory double bit axe handles , had too have a minimum order of 100 handles but pleased with the results i sent them a handle as a pattern then they done the rest

It comes from a local wholesaler farm shop it’s a 30” ash stick
