I needed to use this the other day and thought this might apply in here, help with your shaping of the handles. This is an example of how well it works even in tight contours. This is the first thing ever attempted and was impressed, tight radius's are very easy, but would suggest that you clamp it down. Because it's clamped between 2 disc's , it acts like a clutch to a certain degree. And doesn't seem to want to hop aroud at all and removes material as fast or slow as you would like. Car took less than 15min to rough in, then a 4in1 rasp and finally sand.IMG_20180129_175220.jpg IMG_20180129_211156.jpg IMG_20180129_210941.jpg

I believe it's called a Lancelot,

It goes on a drill or grinder
4.5" grinder, I have one that I believe is rated at 14,000 rpm and that's a little scary, the slower one is more appealing. I bought from Grizzly when I purchased. Probably deliver to door...

LOL the box is catching the oil I put on them. The handles are warped evidently from being stored improperly, both of them. View attachment 109842
Both very nice, don’t know what I like better, the jersey or the boys ax. Should be able to straighten the handles by hanging them from the handle end. The weight of the head will slowly straighten them. Or, lay them on the floor with some weight on them. Pretty jealous of those, nice purchase.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate that. I will try that on big boy, the little guy has a very visible split....it ain't gonna make it

both heads are a bit loose, handles are dryer than a popcorn fart !
the small one has a split forming in the handle under the eye but neither head looks to have ever touched wood
Tap the bottom of yer handles with a hammer till they tighten up good. Then drive yer wedges down should fix that promptly
