36 inch handle Heath? The arvika i would like a 36 but the eye is larger than a normal single bit handle
I think the arvika uses a peavey sized handle ,it is 1/4 inch bigger than my single bit handles ,i will leave the 32 on it unless i can find the right one ,i dont want a loose fitYessir, 36” handle from Madsens.
As you can see in the pics, the head dictated about 1” of handle be removed to fill up the eye of the axe.
Im sure you could keep trimming till you got the fit you want.
Have you looked at Beaver tooth handles?I think the arvika uses a peavey sized handle ,it is 1/4 inch bigger than my single bit handles ,i will leave the 32 on it unless i can find the right one ,i dont want a loose fit

It's a one man show in Tennessee, and he makes great handles. He has all kinds of handles in all shapes and sizes. It's not fast or cheap, but the quality is top notch. Not yet ,never heard of them .says unex on the original one ,never jeard of them either ,it is very nice though compared to the link one i picked up

I managed to make a handle I'm proud of. I'll post a pic when I get home from work.
I found out why the standard single bit handle wont work in the arvika ,they call it a racing/competition axe ,has a wider eye

No I scrapped that one because of that pull out that happened while sanding. Started over, it came out much better this time. I grabbed a couple different shape draw knives and found one that works awesome. Was that the handle you started a couple of weeks ago
