I will! A few impressions off the bat...the axe head itself is beautiful, those damn Germans make some pretty stuff. The handle diameter and contour feel excellent, even within my sausage fingers!

It's very pretty, it's almost a shame that it's going to go out and work. The price was reasonable too for it being a Stihl brand jobber.

Fast is with a 5 inch wide belt sander and a sharpie i can get them as close as i need quickly.
Draw knife sanding or whittling takes much longer.
I like to use a Lancelot I believe is the name, 4.5" grinder with chainsaw chain for cutter's. Very quick and pretty precise, I even carve my kids Derby car's for Boy Scout's. Can quickly get it worked down to the point of only needing a couple of minutes with a 4in1 rasp and then sand! Although it was somewhat intimidating the first time I tried it on the Derby car's, the grinder I use screams (14000 rpm) and it kinda odd to work in the palm of your hand when you first try it ...

Yes they will , got some customers asking about doubles I hope I don't wanna keep too many have you got any spare ones lying around
I just have some badly pitted one's and friends axes that i'm rebuilding
Can't find axes like i used to.
I don't know if you have seen these

It's a screaming earplug saw i used a 268 piston.
The cattle come running when i fire it up i have to drop the tree's before they find me lol

I ground out the tube's a half inch in each one plus brazed another tube up top for a quad portView attachment 80945 .
It's a screaming earplug saw i used a 268 piston.
The cattle come running when i fire it up i have to drop the tree's before they find me lol
