Love the long handle, 40"?
Doesn't look like a too heavy head, 1.2 or 1.6kg?
They both look nice.

I am glad You found a source.
I am still working on purchasing a couple new ones - I don't really need any so it is on the backburner for now.

Hello Wilhelm

My garden tool supplier asked me too come in the office on Thursday after I had loaded my order in the truck
And he asked me what I thought of these I couldn’t beleive my luck
So he had the full story about your axe @Wilhelm

Will he keep those in stock, or will he be able to order You more if You want any?

I really like the long straight handle on the dragon slayer.

She'll split no doubt, but You want her to be beefier - 1.8 or 2.0kg should give this ax style more shoulder.

@Wilhelm I can see why you like this axe
If You're not in a rush, I'll buy a 2.0kg dragon slayer and report back.

I love my ax and I am anxious to find a equal spare/replacement - I just have too many irons in the fire.

I don't know how tall You are, but try the dragon slayer with a 40" handle.
Mine feels like blah with a 32".

Nice finish on that head! :)

I just looked through my videos, can't find the clip I made when I tested the light weight 1.2kg ax that I bought.
Somehow I must have purged the cameras memory card without backing up the video.
It is not like me to do something like that, but there is a first time for everything.

This is my old faithful:

And this is the new light weight one:

I made inquiries regarding dragon slayer axes at two shops today.

What do You guys wanna see in action, a 1.6kg , 1.8kg , 2.0kg or 2.5kg head?

I am leaning toward a heavier head , like 1.8 or 2.0kg.
Although I am certainly curious regarding the 2.5kg head.

I’m gonna say all of them , but I agree 1.6 is probably a bit light
And 1.8 or 2kg will be interesting

One source fell through, the ad is an old one and they no longer stock those axes because the factory supposedly bankrupted and closed it's gates for good.

The second source is incredibly scarce on info.
I have a long forth and back email reply message and still don't know the price of the axes nor shipping cost - how do people like this manage a shop?!?
The guy did send me this picture though, "Bosanska" aka dragon slayer style with 40" handle.
He didn't gave any info on head weight.
bosanska 100cm-edit.JPG
I have sent him yet another message asking specifically for a price on a 2.0 and 2.5kg ax (two axes) with 40" handle plus shipping.
If I get yet another non informative reply I'll try and call the guy.
