Sent an HDA 199 to Treemonkey for a mod for a Husky 359
I did a base gasket delete, muffler mod and porting, mostly matching lower transfers to base, widening and raising exhaust some.
Slapped the modded carb on and put the saw back together.
Never even touched the screws and 3 pulls later it was running perfectly with no further carb adjustments needed.
He is the carb guru!

Funny this came up, just bought a take off HDA199 from lwhaples (great seller, arrived fast) and bought a walbro k24 kit. The carb was spotless but had the wrong diaphragm and gasket. Have it all cleaned, bagged and ready to assemble.

I watched Scott's video a few times and was able to see exactly what the problem was. Man I love videos. image.jpg

Monkey is the man! Or is man the monkey? Can never remember.

I also love videos...especially videos of recently ported 359's that just got a monkeyed 199 put on it. Cough cough hint hint OP. Lol

I will see what I can do!
