I paid $35to send two boat anchor stihls to Iowa. I'm fugging Kansas could of drove there for less if I had free time. I'd say you got a good rate.
You have an 036 and a 064 stihl are those boat anchors too

This is a buyer beware thing. They'll add charges without your consent and you don't notice until you break down your total. If you ask about rates they tend to only tell you the high end as if anything lesser in cost doesn't exist. I had to ask three times before the college aged child I last encountered was willing to show me the full list of pricing.
They charge around 12 bucks extra for signature requirement and will not volunteer the information about the additional cost when they ask if you want it.
Double check box dimensions. Literally a half of an inch can mean the difference of an extra 40 bucks.
That Is CRAZY!!!:mad::chuck:

Fedex has always been cheapest for me. I've sent dual power heads for about $15-$30 cheaper than I've been sent 1 power head from the same place I sent to. I used fedex and the more expensive was usps. USPS is just struggling to stay in existence.
I just got wise to FedEx...they are normally about $12-15 cheaper here.

You can ship through PayPal and save money even if it's not sold through a PayPal transaction. (Ted Warped5 told me this after I shipped him a saw) It's impossible to find on the PayPal site but if you Google "PayPal shipping" there's a link that will take you to it.
How do go about it & where's the drop off center?

I was helping my dad sell a parts 359 to a member here. USPS wanted $43, fedex was $25.

Must really be per area, usps is by far the most affordable option for 3 day shipping. Costs me around 50 bucks to send one to NC thru the usps, right around 90 for ups.

It was going to New York. I’ve shipped several saws lately for $25 through UPS

USPS is cheaper here, last saw shipped was less than $30. Fedex usually right around the same, or a little more.

Recently from flea bay a set of rear tractor tires 12.4 by 28 with tubes delivered to the house 600 bucks free delivery ,came by truck . Few months ago I was going to ship a wheeled mobility walker to a disabled friend in S Carolina .The shipping was more than I could buy a new one for which I did with free shipping .Just today,new radiator for a CJ 5 Jeep 221 bucks shipping free .So these people must get a huge discount by doing large amounts of shipping .
