Some people do have access, just have to catch them when they are on-line. Glad someone was able to get you squared away on a couple of your saws.

Bummer that the 156288738 unit didn't return anything. Post a picture of it, I am sure someone will be able to at least identify it - also, you can list a part number from the saw, usually the first four numbers will identify what saw or series saws it is from.

The oldest one we sold was a 242------ and it was sold early 1999.

My 029 is 231528961 and I purchased it October 1995.

Additionally, the STIHL 029 model was produced between the years 1992 and 1997.
