Sealing oil pump on 2159 per Chainsaw Jim...?

I have a note for my 2159 to seal the oil pump per Chainsaw Jim in the 36" bar thread. Kinda hard to do now...ideas? Or anyone else aware of some sealing improvement?

It's not a big deal, remove the oil pump, pull the oil hose out. Clean up all surfaces with break cleaner, add some sealant to the rubber mating surface (where the rubber meets the case) and reassembled. It has fixed every husky/jonsered in the 346-353 and 357-9 chassis I have had.

Buy a new hose. They improved it.
