I have ran 3 MOFO 026 s and they all liked a 8 pin better. Those look YUMMY.
I do believe so.
If there is one thing to be said for the 026, there were more versions and variations than almost any other saw I have ever messed with. The chain debate will rage on. I have full bar noodled 18" 3/8 with just a simple muffler mod. The saw was not phased in the least.
I aspire to pare everything down to 3/8 but I stihl have more crap than some saw shops....Not making much headway streamlining the B&C inventory.[/QUOTE
Feel free to send your "crap" my way!
Yes Mike I have a bar in that size. Never thought about using it on the 026 though.
Send me an address then.
Does Sarah really need the help of a Mike Lee race chain to beat @Definitive Dave ?
It is sort of like reloading ammo. Try this, then try that, maybe that new powder will work better... Next thing you know, the shelves are sagging under the weight of a zillion components, and you only shoot once a month if you're lucky!
So I'm not the only one with enough gun powder to burn up the whole neighborhood? It is sort of like reloading ammo. Try this, then try that, maybe that new powder will work better... They don't call it smokeless powder for nuthin'. This place goes up, it will be a mushroom cloud you can see from long island...So I'm not the only one with enough gun powder to burn up the whole neighborhood?
That is awesome JohnTeaching my kids to run saws correctly, and to be safety conscious has been very rewarding. My youngest will be 11 in November. He is getting pretty good bucking up limbs, and smaller trunk pieces. He really enjoys taking his saws apart, and cleaning them up. So we have moved onto phase II of his training Maintenance and Repair.

This is a customer's MS250. It was packed full of grime, mung, and muck. It needed a fuel line, filter, air filter, spark plug carb kit, and a really good cleaning. I installed the fuel line, and kitted the carb. Gideon did everything else from disassembly to cleaning and reassembly. #proudfather.
