yes it is fine with me i wanna see it ran with saws of same caliber
One other good thing about me keeping it longer is I'll keep on piddling with it looking for a little more until it goes home.yes it is fine with me i wanna see it ran with saws of same caliber
Exactly right, dall's is a little bit more high strung.Pretty even. Dalls has a little more exhaust duration so I bet it's a little faster with a short bar. The second 066 seems to be better dogged in.
He is a days drive away,he's been here twice but I don't think he'll make it this time. I'd like for him to come run them,it's impossible to explain how one feels.how far is deets from you jason ? if could make the trip let him run it also
Remember that too, mine is 4 years old and broke in very good, yours has a 1/4 tank through it since new,it's not tuned as good as it will be so it's going to gain some more.it needs ran and played with
I have not tried a 288 piston in a early ks but would like to,send it on down. Both Dall and Jason saws looks and runs great from my little eyes? Jason, since you have been working with these stihl 066 saws, have you work ever worked with the early stihl 066 cylinder with the thin base? Mr Jacob J said those early thin base cylinders had good timing numbers. Combine with a 288 single ring piston maybe be a good combination?
I went to my parts shelf and pulled out that early 066 cylinder, and sure enough, it has a thin base on it for a stock cylinder.
Log was under a lot of tension, it was a big leaner that I cut down.Mr Detts066, easy with the sugi bar........ Put the saw down, and step back slowly...........
