Sorry for the noob question, but I’m wondering what the “right” way is to address the factory chain catch (metal) after installing a roller one. Saw is a 562XP. Thanks!

I've taken them off amd cut the catcher off or if I have some washers that fit Ive stuck them in there too. It might not be necessary but to me I like to have a little something in there to keep that bolt were the factory intended.
