I picked this dream of a saw up a couple of weeks ago and found the manual button for the oiler is broken. Any inside as to how to remove it and or find a replacement. I have a very important race coming up against Tallguy (Greg) and need to remedy this issue for sure.

I don't see how it can be split or separated? I couldn't find a screw on the end. Maybe someone know show this comes apart?

If I lose this race life as I know it will be over and I will have to move far away to some remote location where the only person I have to talk to is myself..........oh wait I already do that.......carry on

Hopefully Carl will be along .... probly already asleep ...
Close to it.

Sorry, don't have a clue.

Mighty Mites are best acquired as complete runners. That's what I did.

We having MM races at Iowa GTG?

12" bars in 16" rounds. Meh, we got all day.

I would say bring me if you got-em. I will have to sort out this manual oiler button though and go from there. Mine fires on prime so it should be a go. I think this saw only has a 10" bar. Where can I find a rim for this saw? It is completely worn out.

Yours have 1/4" chain?

I got some clutches and 1/4" X 8 fixed rim drums for them in a group buy.

The pile contained a rim for a full size Bantam type (82cc) that was my main target.

If you need any parts for those damn saws let me know....

Those damn things breed worst than mini macs around here.

I thought about getting one from a old farm pic I was at a while backX he had 6-8 of them hanging from the rafters of an old shed. I thought better of it. [emoji6]

Mine has a rim on it. I will ahve to remove it and see what size it is. Did they ever make 1/4 rim drives?

Genius do you have that oiler button thing that is broken on mine? Or that rear handle assembly that is in working order? I will dig further into this one maybe today to see if it will run on its own. There really isn't much to these little saws from the looks of it.

WOW I'm already falling behind on a race that hasn't even started. I will have to dig up my MMs and get to work. Once I get back from my unplanned vacation. Sometime next week. Should we call it M&M races or will that make me think of chocolate all day. MMMMMM chocolate!!!

Looking at the IPL downloaded off Chainsawr, I see no fastener holding the lever on the shaft.

Possibly it is just a press fit.

Up against a hard place, just replace the rear handle. Save tearing another one down for the part.

Wow! This is as deep as I care to get into one.[emoji849]

You guys are in deep doo doo. I pulled mine off the shelf where it has rested for three years, fueled it and had it running in eight pulls.

I have not touched the carb or so much as inspected the air filter.

10" laminated hard nose with 3/8" LP on this monster.

I did some work on my M&M tonight. Just a little cleaning and it fires right up. Just cleaned the carb and points added a flywheel key built a muffler with welding wire and cleaned the high idle button so it would work. Now just need to clean and sharpen the chain and straighten the bar. Just like NOS if you ask me.

I love a good underdog story. Even when the people running them are doing it for fun. I have plenty of saws noone wants but they suit me just fine. Good work.

Yup, starts easy and runs good. Unlike the smoked Stihl 192TC that just crossed my bench.

I'm going to go find the Philbert chain restore thread. My chain is stuck in the shape of the bar. Heaven forbid I find a newer chain. BTW the saw I'm working on is the backup. My auction treasure has yet to hit the bench. It will only need cleaning and sharpening. I know it runs.

Heh! How many drivers & pitch? I have a bunch of 3/8" LP loops that are likely less rusty.

I gave all the 1/4" stuff and presets to Jeff's Small engines. Didn't want to fool with that size at all.

New 1/4" sprocket drums I do have.
