It worked! More important, the air vane governor maintained 8k. Once warmed up the saw would four stroke until I found the sweet spot (as far as pressure) then it would mostly maintain 7500/8000 in the cut. You can feel the saw make adjustments as you cut. Let’s say it keeps your attention. It’s capable of a lot more power/torque at higher rpms so if it gets an air bubble (or some other excuse to get closer to a perfect mixture) it will almost snatch it out of your hands. Muscle saw for sure. But fun.
