View attachment 209194echo 590 about five year's of 40/1 red armor only.
Then i ported it
No exhaust pics though.
Twas clean a rag wiped off anything that was there.
I ran ra in 60s homelites black sludge would ooze out
As it loosened deposits up.
I like ra just getting too pricey when comparable oils are much cheaper.
What's it figure out to per quart?

Old stuff all black back ground.

The new cheapened up formula but same price has silver diamond.

Never bought any after they changed it.

Still trying VP racing out since. Seems just like it so far, but almost half the price. Plus it is everywhere.
KL200 was my top dawg. But getting slower using it and no need to buy a case of 10qt anymore. Was like 11qt shipped.

You live in Pa correct? I have a quart if you want to try it.
Thanks for the offer i appreciate it
But i had already ordered some.
Between my 30 saws and all the dozens of customer saws
And trimmers and lawnboys
I go through a lot of mix.
Red armor never gave me a headache
Xp and ultra always does.

A built a 461 for a guy awhile back and told him to switch to it. The Stihl oil he was running is absolute garbage. I'm not sure the XP oil is any better after seeing the inside of these 372's the last few weeks. Dry as a fuggin bone..
50/1 stihl ultra in a 394 and a 371
The guy runs
Couldn't even see or feel a film of oil
In the crank case.
Minty 394 I'll have to get it when it locks up.

I loved RA, til they reformulated it like Kevin said. I think they took the stabilizers out among other things and went up in price. Its the American way, demand goes up so does price. I had bought a bottle of Scheaffers from Juian awhile ago and decided to try it. Been using it for over a year now. Everything that I look at looks good. RA is still a good oil, but I think you can find oils out there that are just as good cheaper.
