Ok so apparently I got the wrong filter on eBay.

That's more than I can say about mine...still waiting on the seal I ordered plus the clutch. Decided to do a quick and dirty paint job on the pieces of the saw while I'm waiting..

Finally got mine going. Turned out to be an almost missing seal on the clutch side which I replaced plus a leak around the oil pump which I used Motoseal on. Did another pressure test and all is well, starts on 3rd or 4th pull when cold..
