How many miles?

It had 96k on it when the shop bish said it needed spark plugs to fix the misfire from the low compression on cylinder #1.
Customer declined as that wasnt warranty..
Put another 1,500 on it until it got so bad that any 3 of us could push Wayne's 'burban faster than it could accelerate.

Here is one I pass every morning walking the dog. Makes me think of @merc_man ...

My in-laws neighbor used to have a sign that said "do not cut the ditch grass"..
I always laughed.
The township uses a tractor to cut the weeds along the roads a few times a year.
That way we get to see the deer 2' before impact, rather than the moment of..:eyepop:

I'll have you know the burban is faster than my Honda.

Or it at least feels that way.

That's a strange sign, cuz really who wants to cut random grass?

Another #metoo movement Steve?

I love manuals! They are unicorns nowadays! And impossible to fine in a new truck! I was looking for a 5.3 manual in a o3-07 Chevy, they never made one! Only 4.8 and 4.3 manuals in half tons! ghey!
I think a 4.8 turbo would be funny in my Suburban. Not sure why but the idea makes me chuckle.

Ya the 4.8 is Chevrolet’s underdog performance weapons under boost! lol They have an overbuilt bottom end and good cylinder heads, with even more potential with cnc porting! 1000hp is doable! Lol

My buddy has a Tahoe with the 4.8 damn thing ran great with over 250000. Then his 16 year old crashed it on his second time driving by himself.

Didn't the SS half ton have a manual and a 5.3? But it was only 2wd?

I believe the SS trucks were a 6.0, but not sure you could get a manual trans.
I never saw an SS manual truck.
And they were AWD I think.
Or some were anyway. Memory is foggy on that!

Huh. I don't believe I ever saw one with a manual trans.
I still recall the very first one I had that had the fuel feed line rust from the inside.. It came in with a misfire on #1 and #7. Being a returnless fuel system, it packed all the rust chunks into those 2 injectors. It was a WTF moment.

Day 2 of a haze due to smoke coming from Canadian wild fires.

View attachment 189911

Of course, that being said, I'm naturally blaming @GCJenks204

:D

Local news said these fires are just north of Winnipeg.
Any truth to that Gary?

Now that the rain is clearing the smell of smoke is quite heavy in the air today.

That sucks.

Heres the giant apparatus needed to remove the 1.5 fuel rail and injectors without damage.

The designer of that fuel system needs a kick in the nut sack with steel toed boots.
