These 2 valve 5.4 have always been bad for corrosion by the mainfold and the heads. The longer they are on the road the worse they get! This one is a 2001 model.

Rotted out muffler but otherwise not bad.

Mainly plow trucks do this. Has to be with the alloys ford uses. They dont like each other once salt get involved. It strange cause this one isn't a plow truck.

Dont see them this bad on the Chevy or Dodge trucks of the same era around here.

Idk ,but mines a 98 and I've never noticed any corrosion or anything in that area.

It's a damn shame that it's come to requiring cameras around a house for crap like that.
My wife and I keep talking about moving to the absolute nowhere of Wyoming or Montana. If I said we were moving, she would instantly start packing. But, my Parents keep me here. They are not getting any younger and the least I can do is help them when needed.

I got the same reason too for staying. My grandparents live across town so its nice to be close. Especially when they call because the tv got off channell 3 and the word came to an end cause the tv wont work lol.

Yeah this is true yesterday the the curtain in the living had come off one hook
And my mother was like I won’t be able too sleep tonight if you don’t put it up
And when I went up there it was the end over the wall anyway

I was playing with the house cameras. Here i am cutting grass. Pretty exciting.....

Put them up to catch the hood rats if they deside to break into our vehicles. They have hit all around us in the last few months. Wish i had it couple years ago when they smashed my neighbours week old car back window.

I have the blue point ones. They kick ass for getting out bolts broken above the surface.

Nope. I have some cam lock ones by AST that work real well.

These fords have to be drilled out 5/16 about 3/16 deep. They use a shouldered stud that locks it into the head. If you cant get them out with an external extractor yoy have to drill the. Shoulder off.

These are what I have. They have paid fir themselves many times over.


They will grip stuff that one would never think sonething would bite into.

Thanks. Wish my back looked that nice. Too much junk and my boy is always muckin it up. Oh well at least he is doing lid stuff and not.always on game crap. Im gonna bring in sone new top soil in back and try to get it looking better This year.

Just ate it out with a tiny carbide cutter.
